What is on the RJC campus?
Situated on a beautiful 17 acre campus, Rosthern Junior College facilities accommodate numerous activities. Outdoor basketball, beach volleyball, tennis courts, a soccer field, ball diamond, football field and an indoor skating arena host a variety of athletics activities. There is also a gazebo and fire pit for quiet times and student gatherings.
All of these facilities surround a student residence, which houses the cateteria and student centre with a TV room, games room and a quiet sitting area. The lower level of the residence has a theatre which was built for guest speakers, dinner theatres, drama classes, performances, special lectures and student movie nights.
The school is a short walk from the residence and has spacious classrooms, a chapel, library, computer lab, science lab, fitness room and a full gymnasium with a stage. All facilities, both in the school and the residence, are wheelchair accesible.
The original red brick school house still stands on the school grounds. Currently it houses the Mennonite Heritage Museum.
