EXPLORE - Grade 12

Grade 12 students at RJC are encouraged to lead in the dorms, in the school and in their world. Through the EXPLORE initiative grade 12 students are given opportunities to develop their leadership style through acts of service and cross-curricular learning opportunities. Students are challenged to explore their roles and responsibilities in a globalized world and make their mark as they consider next steps beyond high school.

Ways to EXPLORE

  • Learn to lead with friends at the grade 12 leadership retreat
  • Consider post-secondary options during the RJC exclusive university tour at the University of Saskatchewan
  • Meet with admissions officers and listen to post-secondary presentations from a variety of institutions and organizations
  • Study models of servant leadership through Christian Ethics 30 Servant Leadership class
  • Practice public speaking during a grade 12 chapel
  • Leave your mark! Brainstorm, plan and complete a leadership project
  • Develop leadership skills on Student Representative Council/Dorm Council/Committees/Fine Arts and Athletics teams
  • Practice servant leadership through Alternative Learning and Service Opportunities in Guatemala, Alabama, Calgary and Saskatoon
